LE HAVRE EN 1903

Les fortifications n'existent plus, la ville est en pleine croissance. La tour "François 1er" a disparu pour laisser place au sémaphore.

 Le port s'est étendu davantage vers le sud (Embouchure du fleuve) : c'est l'heure de la prospérité maritime avec le trafic transatlantique.

Le Havre est alors aussi le 1er port pour l'importation du coton et du café.

The fortifications do not exist anymore, the city is squarely growth. The tower "François 1er" disappeared to leave places to the sémaphore. The harbor spread itself more towards the south (Embouchure of the river) : this is the hour of maritime prosperity with the transatlantic traffic. The Havre is then also the 1st one lay for the importation of cotton and coffee.
